Berner Oberland Goodness

I’m back in Chamonix after an excellent stretch of about 16 days of some of the most well known multi-day ski tours in France, Italy and Switzerland with Leavenworth, Washington’s Northwest Mountain School. Having just completed a week long Haute Route (Chamonix to Zermatt), a week long tour in the Ortler Range of Stelvio National Park in Italy, and a tour turned reconnaissance due to ash cloud logistics in the Berner Oberland: I’ve got a few tricks up my sleeve for 2011 Mountain Pro offerings in these areas!

I’ll be sure to update with much more information as soon as I catch up on photo editing and computer work that has been adding up since I left the states a few weeks ago. I’ve got an entire notebook filled with itineraries, route plans and ideas for how to share these incredible tours with more American skiers in 2011, so check back soon to learn about some of the best ski mountaineering tours on the globe.
