Colorado Rockies

Crested Butte Avalanche Center specific weather and avalanche bulletin for the Crested Butte zone.

Colorado Avalanche Information Center CAIC weather and avalanche bulletins for the state of Colorado divided into 8 zones.

CAIC Satellite Radar Links basic satellite imagery and weather radar mosaic.

CAIC Wx Stations links to all weather stations by zone in Colorado. This is an extremely useful link for temps and wind speed/direction and often snow totals.

NOAA Weather the best weather forecasts available for the lower 48. Type in your zip code or city and state. Remember to read the forecast discussion located in the lower right as well as the graphical forecast.

Unisys Weather Models best navigated through the left sidebar, a great resource for those more interested in more detailed weather information.

Chamonix Meteo weather forecast for Chamonix in English. Updated at 0810 and 1500. Generally very accurate.

Meteo Swiss the national weather service of Switzerland.

Meteo France Avalanche Report in French by region.

Chamonet.com provides a basic, but easy to navigate avalanche bulletin for Chamonix.

Digital Snow Weather and Avalanche obs Guidelines (SWAG) Links this is the American standard for recording and observational guidelines. A new version of the SWAG was released in 2009 and should be posted in digital format soon.
